We review service fee arrangements, GST-free health services and Victorian payroll tax, and document where you stand.

Common questions
Do you work with medical and allied health practices?
Yes. We work with GP and specialist clinics, dental practices and allied health practices such as physio, OT, speech pathology and psychology. That covers practice entities, service trusts and the practitioners themselves.
Do contractor practitioners create payroll tax for my clinic?
In Victoria they can. The State Revenue Office expects medical businesses to assess payroll tax for practitioners, including those working under service fee arrangements. We review your agreements and payment flows and tell you where you stand.
Are NDIS services GST-free?
Often, but only when all the conditions are met: the participant has a plan in effect, the support is reasonable and necessary and in their plan, there's a written agreement, and the support type is covered by the GST rules. Services you provide to another provider as a subcontractor are generally taxable. We check each supply type.
Is Support at Home treated the same way as NDIS?
No. Government-funded aged care has its own GST rules, a different claiming system and participant contributions. A provider delivering both needs its income, GST and payroll set up to handle each system properly, and that's our speciality.
Which software do you work with?
We use Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks alongside other software, including Dext and Hubdoc.
Do I need to register with the NDIS Commission or the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission?
It depends on the services you deliver. Some NDIS services require registration, and all government-funded aged care providers must be registered. We prepare the financial side of your application and audit, and can refer you to specialists for the practice and quality standards.
Is there a lock-in contract?
Monthly plans have a 3-month minimum so we can complete your setup. After that you can cancel with 30 days' notice.
